Why run for us?

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. Every year our team of volunteers and employees help more than 82,000 people in need, from Second World War veterans to young men and women who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families.

SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person. And we are here for that person – any time they need us, in any way they need us, for as long as they need us.

What support will you receive?

You will have a specific point on contact within our Challenge Events team who will support you with fundraising ideas, materials, and are there to answer any questions you might have.

How to get a place?

Whether you want to get all 5 booked or just start with 1, you can sign up and find all the details on our website.

Apply for a Charity Place

The registration fee for 1 event is £25 and the fundraising target is £350. If you want to book all 5 events in 1 go you will receive a 20% discount on the registration fee. The registration fee for all 5 events will be £100 and the fundraising target will be £1,750.

Own Place

If you have purchased your own place and decided to run for SSAFA thank you so much for your support. There is no fundraising target for own place participants but please do let us know by emailing teamssafa@ssafa.org.uk so we can support you on your fundraising journey.
